I took a break from refashioning this week and sewed up a new dress instead.

The pattern is the same vintage Simplicity 7763 pattern that I used here. This time I skipped the facings and instead, fully lined the dress with a lawn cotton.
It came together so fast! No zips, buttons, interfacing … no fuss and preparation, just fun!
Windy, much?
Ever since I saw Miriam’s cute yellow bow belt, I’ve been on the hunt for one similar. Good things really do come to those who wait because after months of looking, I discovered this stunning pink one at a local op-shop! I snapped it up faster than a crazed woman at an Alexander Wang giveaway.
